LATEST NEWS:

Wingerworth Wordsmiths have recently celebrated the success of their book, Perspectives, which won the David St. John Thomas Anthology Prize. They beat off 35 other entries from across the country to take the coveted trophy. This is the first time in its 15 year history that a group has won the competition on their first attempt. The judge’s report described the anthology as “a brilliantly harvested collection of short stories and poems”. Now on its third reprint, it has already raised several hundred pounds for three local charities: the MS Society, The Parkinsons Disease Society and Ashgate Hospice. Copies cost £5.
